As the leading sign manufacturer and installer in the Burton on Trent area, Hardy Signs has successfully completed its latest project to install prestigious new signage at one of the town’s popular shopping centres.
The Burton Place Shopping Centre on Worthington Way, has undergone a large scale refurbishment project with new signage throughout.
The project began with the modernisation of the centre’s existing logo using the designated corporate colours. This was then adapted to the various signage requirements across the complex. The main fascia, which runs the full length of the lower car park, comprises large 3-dimensional, aluminium lettering and logo which have a powder coated finish and are mounted directly to the newly refurbished cladding. All of the signage is illuminated by large spotlights for maximum effect in lowlight.
This system has also been used at the Station Street entrance to the shopping centre where Hardy Signs have custom fabricated a triangular aluminium fascia on which to mount the signage.
In addition, throughout the centre itself, the sign team have carried out the replacement of many existing signs using 3d aluminium sign panels with full colour digital print applied.
Motorists and pedestrians travelling along Worthington Way will also notice the addition of a number of large suspended banners adorning the exterior of the shopping centre, making use of the otherwise unused space.
“Due to the high volume of people passing through and around the shopping centre, extra care had to be taken when installing this signage” said Tom Hardy, project manager. “So as not to disrupt or endanger anyone, the main thoroughfare signage was installed later in the evening when the centre was closed”
