Hardy Signs,
Burton’s leading sign company, have successfully completed the modernization of
Dean and Smedley Family Pharmacy in Stretton precinct.
The premises,
based in Main Street, Stretton is part of one of the largest independently
owned pharmacy chains in the area with no fewer than 10 locations.
Hardy Signs were
employed to revamp the existing fascia in the precinct having worked for the
chain for many years. Corporate identity was a key factor in manufacturing the
signs for this project which comprises of an internally illuminated fascia
manufactured from a combination of aluminium and acrylic, all finished in the
correct corporate colour scheme. The main fascia is complimented by a further
large format sign on the roadside, illuminated by a full length downward facing
strip light. The signage is then completed with a projecting light box unit
displaying the pharmacy logo, illuminated from within.
Project manager
for Hardy Signs, Tom Hardy commented “We were asked by Dean and Smedley to give
their existing signage a fresh and modern perspective whilst maintaining the
widely recognized brand as a family pharmacy”
“Using modern
and durable materials and paying close attention to the colour guidelines has
produced an impressive signage scheme that not only promotes the pharmacy
within its surroundings but also brings it in line with the other stores within
the chain. This has been achieved whilst also adhering to set planning
guidelines for the project”.
