A new chip shop has opened in Wetmore Road, Burton with the help of Hardy Signs.
The newsagent's shop next to the Wetmore Whistle public house has been completely refurbished into a large fish bar, showing a complete transformation in service.
Hardy Signs have designed, manufactured and installed the complete takeaway sign package - including fully illuminated fascia sign, menu box suspended from the false ceiling and the creation of a 'Wetmore Road Fish' logo.
Once the plans for the new shop had been agreed by the council, Hardy Signs were called in to take control of the signage... stressing the importance of a ‘simple but effective’ fascia, to attract the attention of passing custom.
The illuminated menu box within the shop was created, from scratch, using imagery from the extensive libraries available. It boasts the ability to change prices quickly without the need to call out a specialist.
Owner Michael Serghi said "Hardy Signs have been excellent from day one; understanding the requirements of a new venture and they have showed they can be very flexible to achieve the installation dates.. ensuring we were ready to open on time".
The project was overseen by General Manager Tom Hardy who commented "The transformation of the premises has been unbelievable in such a short space of time. I feel the signage we have supplied complements the building and the nature of the business, which I am sure will thrive in its location... not only attracting evening trade but servicing the nearby industrial estates throughout the day’.
